I had always considered myself a self-help “junkie.” One day, while in a major department store bookshop I discovered The Power of Now. The words hit me with clarity and deep inner knowing that I had not felt before. The Power of Now became a journey and in the most powerful way led me to read less and less and just be more and more. The weight of a self-help book now feels burdening in a way that drives me further into stillness. I am most grateful to know that I don’t have to search anymore and that everything I need is here now. The simplicity of this is complete freedom. I love not having to know any more than I do. What I love is that despite my regular periods of unconsciousness I can return to a state of being and Presence which has no memory of such episodes. That stillness and the alignment with “what is” is immediately available.
